Top Ten Armies: 08/30/15

UPDATE 2: The RPF size score has been modified to reflect the sizes which they had during the Legends Cup VI Final Battle, due their sizes being negatively impacted by bots.

UPDATE: After hours of careful consideration, we have not only made a final, and major change to the Top Ten, but we’ve also establish future guidelines in order to avoid complications like these with the calculations from ever occurring again.

With this being the last Top Ten for the month of August, we close the book on not only a month, but the majority of our summer vacations, as many members of the community have already returned to school, or have been preparing vigorously. This week, unlike recent weeks, was pretty slow for some armies, however we see a close grapple for first, along with several new armies joining the list.

1T. Doritos: The Doritos started their week with an invasion of a free land server, Alaska, and reached sizes of 45+. On August 28th, the DCP saw two events. The first of which was an invasion of Half Pipe, SWATs former capitol, prior to the closing of SWAT where DCP again reached sizes of 45+. Later that day, DCP held an event on the server Ice Cave, which saw sizes of 35+.

1T. Water Vikings: The Water Vikings kicked off their week by facing off against the Rebel Penguin Federation in the finals of the Legends Cup VI, where they claimed to max sizes of 80 in a 3-2 loss. The next day they logged on for a training session, where they achieved sizes of 35+. On August 25th, WV logged onto the server Ice Berg for a recruiting session, where they saw sizes of 35+. The following day saw a US training session where the Water Vikings earned sizes of 35+. On August 28th, WV logged onto the server Sleet with sizes of 40+. The Water Vikings closed their week off with a practice battle where they faced the ACP, which merited sizes of 30+.

3. Ice Warriors: The Ice Warriors kicked off their week with a US training session on the server Sub Zero, which saw sizes of 30+. Their week continued on August 25th with a UK event that maxed sizes of 25+. The Ice Warriors maxed sizes of 30 during a practice battle with the Blue Miners Army later that day. The Ice Warriors continued their week with a stellar UK training session that earned them sizes of 30+.

4. Rebel Penguin Federation: The RPF kicked off their week by facing off against the Water Vikings in the finals of the Legends Cup VI, where they claimed to max sizes of 90 in a 3-2 victory. The next day, they held a bold invasion of Nachos capitol server, Fjord, where the RPF achieved sizes of 30+. RPF continued their week with an AUSIA event on Arctic that granted them sizes of 15+. During an unscheduled practice battle later that week with the ACP, RPF achieved sizes of 15. On August 26th, RPF launched an invasion of Alaska, where they maxed sizes of 20+. August 28th held an AUSIA event that maxed 11+ in store for the RPF. The Rebel Penguin Federation closed their week off with a UK event where they acquired sizes of 15+.

5. Dark Warriors: The Dark Warriors week began with a UK event on the server Frosty, which saw sizes of 25+. Their week continued on August 25th with an AUSIA event which saw sizes of 12+, again held on Frosty. Later that week, Dark Warriors held a UK training session that resulted in sizes of 15+. DW held their first US event on August 28th, which earned them sizes of 25. August 29th had two practice battles in store for the Dark Warriors. The first was against the Army Republic, where DW maxed 30 and averaged 25+. The second practice battle was against the Ice Warriors, DW averaged 25+.

6. Takis: August 23rd held three events for the Takis. The first was an AUSIA training session which maxed 10+. The second was a cleansing of their server, Northern Lights, which saw sizes of 15+. The third was an unscheduled training session where the Takis of CP maxed 15+. August 24th saw a training session of 17+ for the Takis. On August 25th, the Takis squared off against the Army Republic in a practice battle where sizes of 15+ were achieved. The Takis managed 10+ during their AUSIA training session on August 28th.

7. Army Republic: AR started the week of their grand return to the Top Ten with a practice battle against the Takis where AR maxed 15+. AR held yet another practice battle, this time against the Blue Miners Army, where AR maxed sizes of 15+. August 28th had a practice battle against Cobras in store for the Army Republic, where AR maxed sizes of 14+. The AR closed their week off with a practice battle against DW, where they achieved sizes of 15+.

8. Cobra: Cobras started off their week with an AUSIA event, where they achieved sizes of 9+. Later that day, Cobras held an unscheduled UK event where they maxed 12+. August 26th saw a Ulead training session where Cobras averaged sizes of 12+. The following day Cobras logged on for an AUSIA event that had sizes of 11+ August 29th saw another successful AUSIA event where the Cobras maxed 13+.

9. Army of CP: The Army of CP had a very brief week, only holding 4 events. They started with maxing 22 at Ken’s return event, and followed up with 17 at a practice battle against the RPF. They continued with an invasion of Shiver attaining sizes of 15, and concluded the week with an Invasion of Flurry in which they maxed 15.

10. Underground Mafias Army: The UMA made an interesting return this week, holding only 3 AUSIA events in preparation for their Grand Re-Opening on September 11th. They started out their week with an Invasion of Blizzard, in which they claimed sizes of 15. The army followed up with 8 at an AUSIA training, and ended off with 15 at a training session.

Last week, curious as to whom you all believed had performed the best, we asked you just that, and the response was an extremely close voting, with the Doritos in the lead with 32 votes, the Ice Warriors right behind at 31, the RPF at 26 with the Water Vikings at 25, and the Dark Warriors not too far behind with 20.
