Battle of Bubblegum – Legitimate AR Win?

BUBBLEGUM – In one of the most controversial battles of the war so far, the Austra-Asian forces of both the Army Republic and Army of CP faced each other for the server of Bubblegum. While the AR had sizes of 5-10, the ACP had sizes of 15-20. However, the AR claimed victory on the grounds that they were still on CP, but in an igloo and the ACP logged off first. Burrito called this a “pretty hilarious win” but questions have been raised on to who actually won this battle.

While the ACP claimed to logoff at the standard time of :30, the AR claimed they only logged off at :22 and that this was an unofficial surrender to them. On the other hand, the AR also claimed to log off at the standard time of :30 but the ACP said they logged off at the much earlier time of :13. The AR had sizes of 5-10 through the battle as seen in the picture bellow.

The AR in an unknown igloo.

The whole use of igloos has been controversial, with it seen by some as an obscure and cowardice way to try and beat an opponent. This, based on the fact that the igloo could not be available for entry if the user leaves the server. However, the AR claimed this was “good stratigizing” as the ACP logged off the server possibly resulting in an AR win. In response, ACP 2ic and Austra-Asian leader Flipmoo said that the “good stratigizing” was in fact “running away before the rest of the ACP came to the room”. During this battle, Flipmoo led the ACP to sizes of 15-20 as seen bellow.

The ACP use E+9 in the forts.

Although the council, which was recreated by Boomer20 in November 2012, is dead and has no bearing on the rules that are now used, it states that:

“Blatant attempts to avoid fighting the defending army directly will result in an unsuccessful invasion”

However, these rules are not still in place but the ACP have claimed that the AR were not in a main room and “hiding” in an igloo was just a “lame excuse” for victory. The ACP and AR only fought each other on a few occasions in this battle and the AR claimed that the ACP did not make enough of an attempt to find the AR and thus did not defend the server. I interviewed Cassius Brutus, ACP 3ic, on this controversial battle:

Q: Is hiding in igloos a legitimate way of winning?

No, it’s completely dishonorable and whoever does it should be shot on the spot on the spot. They are the scum of the Earth. They don’t know how to hold a fucking knife and fork.

Q: Do you think this was a “lame excuse” from the AR, as said by Flipmoo?

Yes, Flipmoo is entirely right. AR are hypocrites, they accuse us of dishonorable behavior – yet the AR do exactly this. They need to grow a fucking pair and stop sucking on their mothers teat.

Q: How do you think ACP did at this battle?

We did very well, those are the biggest sizes that our AUSIA division have ever had. The AR simply weren’t in our league.

Q: Do you have anything else to add?

The AR Sheep Cultism is pathetic.

In an interesting interview with Cas, he clearly feels that the AR were “dishonorable” during this battle and should have admitted defeat. He also was very pleased with the ACP’s performance during the battle and said it was the “biggest sizes that our [the ACP’s] AUSIA division have ever had”. I interviewed Lord Jay, AR 2ic, on this battle to get a balance on Cas’s opinions.

Q: Is hiding in igloos a legitimate way of winning?

We didn’t hide in a room, we went into a room to trick the ACP of thinking we retreated so that they would log off and we would win the server. First of all we never have done this and I just think of it as one of Burr’s smart ideas.

Q: Do you think this was a “lame excuse” from the AR, as said by Flipmoo?

A lame excuse? No, of course not. Maybe the ACP should actually check every room when they log off because they did not. It’s on Flipmoo’s part that AR won Bubblegum because he did not check every igloo/room. Since they did check igloos, but not the one that we were in.

Q: How do you think AR did at this battle?

The Army Republic did have less troops, but on Capn’s “whoever logs off first” rule we stayed online in an igloo. The Army Republic only maxed about 9 and did have great tactics, but we still won because ACP logged off first.

Q: Do you have anything else to add?

No, only that you should join AR!

Jay, who was not at this event, backed up the opinion from that of Burrito and how the ACP did not logoff last and the AR stayed on longer and this resulted in a defeat for the ACP. He also said that this was “Capn’s rule”.

What do YOU think about the battle of Bubblegum? Did the AR move to the Igloos to hide, or was it a good strategy? Could the ACP use this in future battles that they are losing? Comment YOUR opinion on this battle.

  1. An igloo is not part of a server. Because the igloo moves to different servers depending on which server the igloo’s owner is on, it cannot be called a part of a specific server.
What the AR are trying to say is that if the whole army goes to a specified igloo (where the enemy cannot find them) and stay there, they automatically win the battle.

    That’s not how it goes.

  8. WELL filpmoo is right the igloo is not apart of the server where ever the owner of the igloo the igloo is on that server ACP did win bubblegum.AR did cheat by going to a igloo.

  9. Actually, The Igloos are apart of the server. It’s even listed on the map.

I don’t know what you’re saying. But yes, I have to admit, ACP has won mainly because AR did not fight the enemy. This is not tactical, this is just running away from the opponent. If this is valid, LT could’ve done that when HSA was winning a battle.

    This logic….. my god.

  11. I’m gonna say this:
I agree with Cas. Most of my agreement comes from the fact that THE SHEEP CULT IS ONE OF THE STUPIDEST THINGS TO EXIST IN WARFARE, as well as he’s not a freaking sheep so he needs to stop acting disabled, but it’s not right. AR lost this one.

  12. I am sorry but as much as it was a pretty clever idea, it still does not mean AR won. ACP had bigger sizes and since AR was too afraid to fight them, they lose. If AR would really like to fight them they would have told ACP that they were in whoever’s igloo.

  13. Tbh, we did this mainly as a message to ACP for some of the bullsh*t they won’t admit defeat on. It’s not fun, it’s not fair, trust me, we know first hand from having to fight Capn and his ignorant self.

  15. This is ridiculous.

Okay, so let’s put it the other way around. What if I put ACP’s AUS/Asia division in an igloo and never fights the enemy? Do I win? Will AR lose?

    No, because it’s ridiculous.

Retreating into an igloo is simply pathetic. And guess what? We happen to be called no-life Americans, but that’s only because AR can’t do proper research. The entire official leadership of the division is Asian. On the AUSIA ranks page, which can be found on the division site, we provide a complete list of AUSIA troops. So while some US/UK troops were there, the division is still legitimately AUS/Asia.

Up until this point, AUSIA battles have always been fair and pure. Now, AR decides they have to bring retardation into them.

    Thank you so much.

  17. Also, I don’t understand who the heck started this “sheep cult” thing. If you were smart, (yes I say IF) you would understand that the sheep followers is just this fun thing Superaalden has done. And if you’re going to say, “AHHH I HATE THEM BECAUSE THEY ALL SAY BAA AND TALK ABOUT GRASS ALL THE TIME OMG OMG OMG!!!!!!!” No, actually we don’t. Only Superaalden does that and that is perfectly fine. That is his signature he’s made for himself in CP armies. If more people could be like Superaalden, the world and CP army community would be a better place.

  18. Well Firstly, The ‘whoever logs off last wins’ rule is just how I judge battles personally, not Capn. Secondly, AR invaded one igloo in this battle, so yes, they won, they now own that igloo, whichever server that igloo moves to with its owner, is what AR will own while it’s there, if the penguin is offline, AR owns nothing, if its on Mukluk, AR claims to own Mukluk, if it’s on an already AR server, then AR has two claims to that server.

Part of the server is a place that is always on that server, Igloos move to different servers, therefore hiding in one and calling it strategy isn’t invading the server.

    tl;dr:

AR’s stance on Invasions: There’s no place like home.
