With the Mammoth Restoration Project taking place, here is a look at the server Mammoth. What it has done for armies, when it has been fought over, and, of course, can it be restored to its former glory? All that and more in my newest post, “A Look at Mammoth,”….
Mammoth has been a base for Club Penguin, from armies to bloggers. It has been an extremely popular server over the years, and is now in possession of ACP. Mammoth is a very sought out server among armies, because, of course, it’s almost always packed. Mammoth has been changed between a neutral server and a server owned by an army over the years. Now, here is a brief history of Mammoth and armies.
I can not find any information to say that Mammoth has ever been owned by any other army besides ACP. If anyone has information to disprove that statement, please let me know. It has also, of course, been neutral for a long period of time. As far back as I can find, ACP owned Mammoth. The defended it from many armies over the years. Then, ACP agreed to make Mammoth neutral, since it was such a popular server. This lasted for a little while, until the events that took place on Christmas Day, 2009….
Boomer 20, considered one of the greatest leaders of all time, declared that since this would be his last Christmas leading ACP, he decided to give them a gift: Mammoth. Here is part of the groundbreaking post that Boomer posted on December 25, 2009:
“So for Christmas this year, I give you – Mammoth, the server where ACP was born and raised.”
I was a Lt. Colonel in ACP at this point, and I remember being in awe of what happened. It was said that Boomer 20 “Pulled a Boomer,” a term thought up by Kenneth 1000. And of course, what kind of coincidence is it that Ken is also involved in the Mammoth Restoration project along with Iceyfeet and many others. Then, Mammoth was neutral once again. After this, on August 4, 2011, ACP “Pulled a Boomer” for the second time. And that is the history of Mammoth.
This project will, in the eyes of those who started it, bring Mammoth back to its “Glory Days”. The time when everyone fought over Mammoth constantly. Of course, ACP still owns the server, they are simply allowing armies to battle on it. Many armies are participating. The battles will take place in the Dojo and the Snow Forts from August 23rd to August 26th. Thus, these battles are almost ending. I went on Mammoth at 2:00 expecting that the 1:00 event had ended. Most armies left, but I did see MW and GT battling in the town. Whether this was related to the project or not I don’t know, but here is the pic:
The Mammoth Restoration has done a lot for Mammoth, and has showcased the power of many armies. ACP has allowed many armies to fight on Mammoth, and I congratulate everyone involved for succeeding in bringing Mammoth back to what it used to be. As Boomer said on that memorable Christmas Day:
“It only seemed right for the first step towards a Golden Age was to actually revert back to the way things were in said Golden Age.”
Well, that was the first step. Through many armies working together Mammoth has been brought back to its former glory. This is an example of the power that armies hold when they simply work together to achieve a goal. And you’ve done it, everyone: Mammoth has been restored.
Mammoth has had an influence on armies throughout their entire existence. We have had an exclusive glimpse over these past few days at what Mammoth was like when armies first began.
So what do YOU think? Has this helped Mammoth be brought back to its “glory days”, or is this an event the will fade away into one of the less important things in army history? Comment with YOUR opinion!

Mammoth was “owned” by the alliance after WWIV in November until it was made neutral. Worst decision ever. Mammoth should have remained ACP’s server in 2009, and I’m a Nacho…

Please specify what was so horribly wrong with this post that you felt the need to curse in a comment, which, by the way, is against the rules on CPAC…

Cursing is against the rules due to the fact we may have some readers who are not of the age where parents/guardians allow them to read sites with curses on.
If there is a curse in a comment it will not be approved, ‘wtf’ must have been deemed appropriate.
