[Event In Review] Light Troops vs. Rebel Penguin Federation

TUNDRA, Battle Venue – It’s been a constant struggle for power recently between Light Troops and the Rebel Penguin Federation as both have tried to prove their dominance as well as power within the community. This battle accumulated in a huge battle with a reported 94+ troops logging in for the event.

The Light Troops marched onto the Rebel Penguin Federation capital for this event that was thankfully recorded by a Light Troops owner, Baylee. The battle was important to both armies as Light Troops wanted to prove that they are better than the combined forces of RPF and their allied armies while the RPF wanted to prove that they are worthy of being a #1 spot contender within the community.

The Light Troops started the battle in the Town and announced that they would be going to attack the Rebel Penguin Federation soon. People at the battle recorded that the RPF had 32 online for the prebattle while the Light Troops had about 40+.

The Light Troops then moved to the Stadium while the RPF were supposedly at the Forts. Several judged this as a way of getting closer to the RPF to minimize the possibility of lockouts.

The Light Troops then moved to the Ice Berg and a similar occurrence was noted. The Light Troops never actually went to the room that the Rebel Penguin Federation were in. Although the Light Troops claim a size of 50, those 50 soldiers were never told to attack the RPF’s 44. I spoke to RPF Leader, Silverburg about that and he told me this –

“we went into their room but they retreated”

As you can see from the above quote, Silverburg is blaming Light Troops for the lack of interaction between the two armies. Silverburg also seems to be calling the RPF cowards due to the fact that he claims they “retreated” from him.

Like I said above, a video of the battle was taken by a Light Troops member; due to the video we can test out the theory that Silverburg provided us with. The Light Troops went to three separate rooms. These were the Town, Stadium and Ice Berg. If the RPF did indeed try to battle them, then the RPF will be seen in vast quantities just before Light Troops leave.

The following is a picture of the Town, Stadium and Ice Berg just before the Light Troops leave the room; remember – we are looking to see if the RPF do indeed go to battle them.

Here we see a sole member of the Rebel Penguin Federation in the room at the same time, so we cant really count one person as an invading force.

Just before the troops open their maps, it’s clearly visible that there are no RPF troops attempting to attack the army.

All of the above pictures were taken just before Waterkid announced either “OPEN MAPS” or that it was the end of the event. As you can see, the RPF were never actually attacking the Light Troops like they claimed they were, but at the same time – The Light Troops didn’t actually go to the room that the RPF were in either.

Unfortunately, I have a glitch on the RPF site which will only show me one picture from the RPF event and that is the last picture taken by the army during the event. In the picture, you can clearly see only the RPF and no interaction with the Light Troops – this may have been taken after the Light Troops logged off.

Seeing that neither army actually fought each other, I don’t suppose we could actually determine a winner of the battle as nothing was sorted. This battle was seemingly made to see which army is better, but that goal was not achieved as both armies stayed away from each other the best that they could.

If you want to watch the battle from a Light Troops perspective, you can watch the video below. CP Army Central gives full credit to “Bayleeflight” for this video.

What do YOU think? Has anyone proven their dominance yet? Will we see an RPF-Light Troops war develop? Comment.

  4. Clear victory for the Light Troops. RPF kept avoiding us because they knew our troops were faster. When Silerburg ordered RPF troops to open their maps, I saw him at the Stadium alone. I ordered LT troops to do the same, preparing them to enter the Stadium, but as soon as Silver saw my penguin he left and ordered RPF to go to the Snow Forts while LT entered the Stadium. RPF is scared.
