UPDATE: The Army of Club Penguin has announced their withdrawal from the New Dawn Alliance.
In an unpredictable turn of events, the New Dawn Alliance spontaneously reunite. However, they’ve returned with a new target in sight, declaring a full-scale war against the Water Vikings.
The New Dawn Alliance originally consisted of the ACP, DCP, and RPF back in 2013. They were formed with a simple purpose, to make the community a safer place by combating all forms of bullying and corruption. They were met by opposition from an alliance named the Bloodline Alliance, that consisted primarily of the Nachos and the Light Troops. Now after just over a year of being dead, the New Dawn Alliance emerges from the history books and onto the grand stage once more. However this time, with support from a few new armies.
As of now, it seems like the New Dawn Alliance currently consists of the Doritos, RPF, ACP, DW, and IW, with DCP being the spearheading force behind the campaign. You may find each armies post announcing their participation in the NDA by clicking on the respective armies name. An excerpt from the Doritos declaration of war can be seen below.
The evil Water Vikings have attempted to tarnish our image, with their creator (Zakster) being bias on a media outlet, giving them points for sizes that aren’t proven. We have decided to declare war. We will invade their nation and they will fall to the NDA.

During an unscheduled event earlier today, the new NDA joined forces for the first time and achieved sizes of over 60+. The Alliance conglomerate has also scheduled a series of invasions against the Water Vikings to take place later this week.
On the flip side of this war, the Water Vikings seem to be showing no signs of distress or concern. The Water Vikings have scheduled defences against the alliance, as well as some invasions of their very own. An excerpt from the Water Vikings response post can be found below. I caught an interview with Stromae, WV leader, to get a better understanding of the Water Vikings thoughts on the war.
Goblin: What was the Water Vikings initial reaction to this war?
Stromae: In all honesty, the soldiers were taken by surprise, however the leaders knew for a while beforehand. We realized it would be a similar situation to the Power Alliance a couple of weeks ago.
Goblin: How do you feel about the current state of WV leading into this war?
Stromae: I think WV is in one of its best periods ever. Getting first on the Top Ten really topped it all off. The leaders really look up to the retirees and legends like Zakster and Jed Pen, we want to do them proud, and continue their legacy as much as our own.
Goblin: What are your expectations for how this war will go in the weeks to come?
Stromae: I believe this war will fizzle out into a political mess in the end, various armies have already pulled out of the alliance. I just simply ask the leader of the NDA if they trust the other leaders.
Goblin: Is there anything else you’d like to add?
Stromae: For the people who are not yet involved with this war, I remind you; WV was on its own from the start, 5 vs 1, we are a humble army and respect those who haven’t sided with the NDA.

This alliance is quite confusing, really. The ‘Dawn Alliance’ was initially created to combat bullying and other wrongdoings in the community, but now these armies are just using the prestige and legacy carried by the title of this alliance for the sole purpose of killing a neutral army that just got 1st. The center of this alliance is the Doritos, who are manipulating the rest of the armies into believing that the Water Vikings have done something wrong, when in actuality they are just too scared to wage war on the Water Vikings without assistance. The truth is, this war’s function is not to ‘protect Club Penguin from the evil Water Vikings’ like the propaganda states, but to plant the Doritos back on that number one spot. That is genuinely the sole reason. No sugarcoating. Why the other armies feel obliged to involve themselves in this and betray the Water Vikings, former allies, I do not know.
Another thing regarding this, quite frankly, ridiculous ‘war’ that irks me is that not only did they go to the effort of unifying in order to attempt to knock the Water Vikings off their feet, but they’ve further proved their cowardice by scheduling all of their invasions at the exact same time. 4 armies, all of which only slightly smaller than the Water Vikings, need to schedule so many attacks to the extent that the defending army CAN’T EVEN DEFEND! Even from a neutral perspective, that is completely pathetic. I mean, if you have the audacity to talk so big, you could at least pull something out of the bag that isn’t as woeful as this gutless act.
Anyhow, enjoy the circle jerk, with the monthly all-on-one ‘alliance’ bullshit.

So tell me, is a good HALF of the top 10 going to start declaring war on whoever gains the 1st position now? The reason for creating the alliance in the first place, as said in the post, is to stop bullying and corruption, but is it not bullying that 5 armies are arbitrarily attacking a previously neutral army?
This completely undermines the integrity of a “New Dawn Alliance” because their purpose is being forgotten. Of course, it is easy to say that “they are evil and zak is bias hurr” but how much of this is factual?
Either the leader of this alliance (although usually an alliance is not supposed to have a leader) has not explained everything, or there is a belying reason. Either way, how can people believe in an alliance that is clearly using propaganda to paint WV in a tarnished image, and is therefore lying to the community?
Furthermore, this whole war is proof of how influential and polarizing the Top 10 really is. Have people forgotten Icey’s post about the plague of CP armies already, or are those who agreed with it now in favour of the NDA, having succumbed to their propaganda? The Top 10, accurate or not, is no reason to declare war on another army. The fact that the NDA is doing just that further undermines their presupposed position of moral superiority, and now they are simply an alliance like any other. Please treat them as such.

The funny thing is, Icey is actually in favour of the war. If you ask me, making a post about how the top 10 negatively affects the level of toxicity within the community and then declaring war on an army because of the top 10 just makes him a hypocrite.
