Top 10 Armies: 3/31/2013

Happy Easter everyone and good day to you all! As the Easter Bunny brought chocolates, CPAC has brought you the weekly top 10 to behold upon as this time, Funks and I have made up this top 10 in the absence of the Bluesockwas as they have gone on vacation. The order was done in a joint effort by the both of us, with the descriptions being written by Funks. Hope you enjoy this top 10 and please feel free to click the read more button to continue on to read the top 10!

 Water Vikings [Former: 9th]

<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>

1. Nachos [+0]: The Nachos continue their long run at the top of the top ten after winning the CPAC March Madness, beating the Ice Warriors with sizes of 40-45. The only other notable event of the week was when they maxed 30 in the middle of the week, but the big event to start the week off was enough to hold the placement once again. War tensions seem to be escalating between them and the Army of CP, as a raid of Breeze occurred on Down Under on Saturday, in which the Nachos hit poor sizes of 15. Puckley stated in one of his posts that “War should be coming very soon, Nachos, so make sure to be ready!”. The Nachos also appointed Edd64 as a new Nacho Leader and Wolfie/Samuel as new owners. Also, they promoted Dj Dan and Fiffylog to Co-Leaders and these promotions within the owner ranks have been met with optimism from the Nacho troops.

2. Army Of CP [+5]: The ACP improved from the slump of last week, when they fell into the bottom half of the top ten in a sudden drop. The successful event came on Friday, when they nearly managed to hit 40 and perform good tactics. This event came hours after an unscheduled event in which they managed to get around 30+. This came in a week when Dj, the new Commander General replacing controversial figure Snaily, got to lead in his first week as owner. To start the week they had 30-35 in a Sunday Recruiting. The ACP also had 25+ in a UK event at the start of the week and they also managed 25-30 in a raid defense against the Nachos, who have been suggesting that they may declare war on the ACP. Kenneth, former ACP leader and current Head General, ended the war with the SWAT and gained back Snow Flake. Later in the week, he was also awarded the new Silver Medal Award along with Swimmer for their work in the USA force.

3. Special Weapons And Tactics [-1]Despite another good week for SWAT, they seem to be in a disaster, as multiple owners leave them. In a post yesterday by Badboy, SWAT 2ic, he said how; Crazy was fired, Ben quit for UMA, Spikey quit for Tacos, Spi retired and Burns “retiring for the hell of it”. This could signal another fall for SWAT, but that has not been shown this week as they consistently hit 30 throughout the week. The consistency of SWAT was the main reason to why they were above the Ice Warriors and during the week they managed to beat the IW with sizes of 30+. They ended the war with the ACP on the 26th of March, giving back Snow Flake and agreeing a 3 month treaty with the army that has taken their spot of last week. In CPWI’s tournament, they beat the Miners but no pictures were provided. The final notable event of the week from SWAT was during a training session, in which they again hit sizes of 30+.

4. Ice Warriors [+0]: The IW began the week with a loss at the hands of the Nachos in the CPAC March Madness, still managing sizes of 35+. During the battle, they won at the Forts and drew at the berg with the Nachos, but the heavy loss at the Dojo resulted in defeat for them. They also had two practice battles, winning against the Pirates and losing against SWAT. In both, they had sizes of about 25. Albert, IW Leader, appointed Alicia as the new 4ic (which is an owner rank within this army) in what could be seen as an attempt to boost the UK force. Also, Aln007 and Tes were promoted to the same rank for the USA force. Nitro and Ben were promoted within the owner ranks. During the UK events this week, they generally hit around 15 and performed near perfect tactics. The Ice Warriors had the most events this week for an army not in war in the top ten, but they hit 25 throughout the week and this was the reason why they were bellow SWAT, who appear to be having leadership problems.

FINALS4

5. Light Troops [+5]In a stunning rise, the LT come from the bottom of the top ten to the bottom of the top five. This came in a week when they generally had 25 at events, hitting 30 at their heights. They are currently at war with the Hot Sauce Army, who were previously above them in the top ten and according to their score count it is currently tied between the two armies. They have seven events coming up against the HSA within the next three days, including a mixture of Australian, UK and USA events. They are also a mixture of defenses and invasions. There has also been claims that people within the army of HSA have been ddosing influential leader and CP army legend, ioioluk, in an attempt to gain an advantage in the war. The Light Troops’ best event came on Saturday, when they maxed 30 and Ioioluk said “Today, I couldn’t come at the battle because my Internet was down(I was getting DDOS)”

6. Dark Warriors [-1]Although they didn’t keep a top five spot, a good event to end the week stopped them from falling any further as they hit about 30. Crazy, who was fired from SWAT, joined DW for leader this week. During the week, they generally had 20-25 at most events and this included a surrender from the struggling Pirates; declaring war on the Dark Warriors due to the DW’s poor relations with the Light Troops. Madhav quit the DW from the rank of 3ic, due to what he claims was bullying and there has been little reaction as of yet from the DW soldiers. They are not at war with any army at present and have not suggested that they will get involved in  a war, consistently ranging in the 25’s suggests that the DW will be looking to build first.

7. Hot Sauce Army [-1]Despite getting similar sizes to last week, they fell down two places due to the improved week for CP armies. On the contrary to LT’s score, the HSA say that they are winning the war 6-5, which suggests that the LT’s score is outdated or they disagree with each other. HSA claimed that they did not ddos Ioioluk, as per his claims and that he was making it up and was trying to find an easy way to win. HSA generally had 20-25 throughout the week, getting near 30 at one or two occasions. They also performed good tactics through the week and came close to the top five, but were not consistent enough to be above the DW or LT. HSA have seven events coming up in the next three days, including a mixture of time zones and defenses/invasions. The HSA have had the most events during the week, alongside the LT and have been very busy.

8. Doritos [+0]: The Doritos, who have previously been removed from armies before due to an agreement of hostility towards to DCP within the top ten, have multiple armies who are rumored to want to kill the Doritos. Controversial figure Lord Pain was put in place as DCP leader, having already been couped from them in the past. The DCP averaged about 20-25 through the week, maxing at about 28 and hitting lows of 15. Luke was given owner of the month, Meta Knight was given moderator of the month and Summertime was given member of the month. The overall troop went to West004. Their best event came in the cleansing of Thermal, in which they had their best tactics and size. The war with HSA is now over, which could have sparked a large world war and DCP claimed they won about half of the battles. Lord Pain also said that the DCP owners need to stop the “slack off at recruiting”.

9. Pirates [+2]Despite regaining a spot in the top ten, they still had a poor week and only have this spot due to an event with sizes of 20-25 at the start of the week. They pulled out of the Dark Warriors war and Waterkid said “The Pirates are on the the edge of death“. Popular owner, Yeasy, stepped down to 3ic and Samsung was fired from the Pirates due to the fact he stole some Pirate troops and tried to start a rebellion through the army of Lizards, an army that also had growing tensions with the Army of CP because of the same reasons. Also, Bidnow has been “extremely ill” and he stated that he cannot be active within the coming weeks due to exams but says he is not retiring from CP armies. The only other known event from the week for the Pirates was when they lost to the Ice Warriors in a practice battle, barely being able to reach 5 and performing no tactics.

10. Tacos [NEW!]The Tacos, who recently became an ACP colony, have returned to the top ten with consistent sizes of 15-20. Their best event came in an unscheduled event when they maxed 20-25 with good tactics and this was enough to put them above the LD and AR. Max was fired as Tacos leader and Spikey (who quit SWAT for Tacos) was appointed as the new leader. They narrowly lost to the SWAT at the beginning of the week in the CPWI tournament and most of their top ten sizes have come in one or two unscheduled events. There is no other news from the Tacos, who seemed to only inform everyone about their events and new leaders through the week but they will surely be thrilled that they have finally managed to reach the top ten. Spikey, the new leader, said that “this shall be a new beginning for Tacos” and that has shown with their top ten position.

What do YOU think about the new top ten? Are the armies in the right order, or have we got it horribly wrong? Also, what do you think about AR’s record ten place drop from 2nd to 12th? Comment YOUR opinion!

  18. Paco I don’t know if you noticed but today is Easter not APRIL FOOLS because it honestly looks like this top ten is a big Joke. First off, How are the Light Troops in front of HSA? LT is not only losing the war, but they have only maxed 25 once this week with poor sizes throughout the week, apperently Paco thinks if you max 25 once then you automatically are in the Top 5. HSA were able to Max 30-35 on sunday night and have had 1-3 events daily, HSA has been the most consistent army this week with probably over 15 events. We usualy don’t even get under 20 we max anywhere from 25-30 at our events. I think its a bit shady that the LEADER of the army HSA just went to war with is making the top ten. All I can say is wow, HSA in my opinion deserves Top 5 or possibly Top 3, You didn’t even get the best pic of us because you don’t want to look bad where your placing us. Look at this and tell me how we are 7th http://hotsaucearmy.com/2013/03/30/pictures-for-the-top-10/http://hotsaucearmy.com/2013/03/25/half-pipe-is-back-3-1/
Our AUS force is maxing 10-15 at 2:00-6:00 AM times. I just… wow this is just bad.

  36. Nachos actually matched 30 at their raid of ACP, but ACP got scared and changed the times to an hour back so the Nachos logged on at the original time, then again to the time ACP changed to and didn’t do as well because it was an in schedules event that was an hour or so after the original.

  37. Well done everyone. All top 5 armies got at least over 30, and not a single army got less than 20 🙂 Very happy about the rise in armies.

  38. Now, I don’t usually comment on Top 10’s because I generally agree with them. Most of this top 10 is good, great even. It’s not by far a shitty top ten at all.

However, I don’t agree with HSA’s placement (CUZ IM BIAZ). It should also be noted that even though we did better than last week our ‘efficiency’ rating or whatever that percentile is went down, which is what I don’t understand.

    Like

    • Thanks for making a comment that is constructive and actually helps us. Every week, the boundary for the “size” category changes based on how armies do through the week. The ratings are majorly based on
size and one week it would be out of 45, the next out of 35. Also, I would say everyone within the 5th-8th region could have a claim to 5th.

  43. Funks im from HSA and i dont usually complain with the top 10 either and i think its usually fine but this time its just an outrage AR was #2 and they just “drop 10 ranks” and then ACP was at #7 or 8 and then they become #1 Entire HSA half of even ACP ive seen LT Dw Ar ive ben interviewing and everybody disputes about you putting ACP so high up with only 27 when others have 30+ – 40+ and you get #2? Sometimes unk you just cant put your army first because you become so “proud” of your troops when they do well but you need to understand everyone your wrecked to the bottom of top 10 had twice the skills acp had and i find this staged and set up ACP does not deserve #2
