Top Ten Armies 10/07/12

Apologies for this slightly late Top Ten, but this week we have another interesting one as the showdown for first gets close.

PRE-NOTE: The Ice Warrior’s respective ranking is based off of post-hack data on their site. If anyone can find me the pre-hack data, the Top Ten will be edited accordingly. On a side note, this Tuesday is the deadline for Scary Showdown signups. If your army does not sign up at that time, they will be replaced.

Close to the Top Ten:

11. Metal Warriors [-1]

12. Pretzels [-5]

13. Tuxedos [NEW!]

14. Ninjas [NEW!]

15. Global Defenders [NEW!]

1. Doritos of CP:  The DCP clinch themselves the number one spot this week, with the hack of the IW site dragging down the former number one army. The DCP’s week began as their war with LT continued and they claimed victory on the server of Matterhorn. A few days later, on Saturday, they had a nice recruiting session where they reached sizes of around 15. Then on Sunday they had a spectacular event with sizes of around 30, which landed them the number one spot.

2. Army Republic: The AR land themselves the number two spot, just barely losing the number one spot. They began the week with a good training event with sizes of around 20. Towards the end of the week AR saw the retirement of their beloved leader and creator 122344a, who leaves AR after six years of service in the army community. His retirement post can be found here.

3T. Dark Warriors: The DW make a shocking rise to third in the Top Ten this week, having been restarted by former leaders Unknown, Elite910 and Donut67890. The DW began the week with a declaration of war on the Night Warriors, where they beat out NW for the server of Fog. Just recently, however, the war has been canceled with the agreement that DW and NW will share the server of Fog.

3T. Light Troops: The LT fall a bit this week, tieing for the number three spot. They began the week as their war with DCP continued and they claimed victory on the server of Matterhorn. The next day they claimed victory on the server of Southern Lights, in what was a battle that lasted an hour and twenty minutes. They then moved on to claim the server of Ice Box with sizes of 15+. That same day, the DCP and LT reached a treaty that brought the war to an end. A few days later, the LT had what was arguably their best event of the week with sizes of around 20 in a recruiting session, with another good event the day after. At the end of the week, the LT saw the retirement of their leader and figurehead Ioioluk, leaving LT with a message that they need to step it up, or they will die.

5. Army of CP: The ACP had a great week towards the end, but their start out slowly hindered their average performance this week. They began the week with the defense of Breeze from the Pirates, were they had sizes of about 6. The next day, on Arctic, they got sizes of around 10, and the next day with sizes of around the same on the server of Tuxedo. That same day ACP saw the retirement of their 3ic Empoleon, with two more victories on the servers of Breeze and Snow Fort on Wednesday. The next day they claimed victory on Parka and on the server of Summit on behalf of the Doritos. There were a few more events throughout the week, but on Saturday ACP struck gold. They had a spectacular event with sizes of around 25, and another great one the next day with sizes of 30. If the ACP can continue with events like this, they’ll be well on there way back to the number one spot.

6. Ice Warriors: The IW take the number six spot simply because of the site hack. While the IW probably had sizes worthy of the number one spot throughout the week, no owner was on chat and the site data is yet to be restored. On the 7th the IW re-invaded their capital of Sub Zero from the Pirates, with sizes of around 2o.

7. Tositos: The Tostitos also make a very nice rise to 7th, having only been created this week. Throughout the week their sizes remained around the same, with their first event grabbing them an average size of around 15. The next day they claimed the server of Ice Pond- the Tostitos continue to claim all servers listed as unclaimed on the CPAC Servers page [looks like I have some work to do], with the contingancy that any servers owned by other armies, he will give back. The Elites also merged into the Tostitos as they claimed the server of Snow Bank.

8. Nachos: The Nachos had a pretty good week, which they began with a decent recruiting session with sizes of 13. Later in the week they had one other event, a practice battle against UCCP, with sizes of around the same.

9. UCCP: The UCCP had a decent week. It began with Mustapha, UCCP Leader, denying claims that the army was helping LT and the Pirates in various wars. They had a few events throughout the week, with sizes of around 10.

10. Pirates: The Pirates take a fall after holding out a top five spot for a long time now. The week began with them claiming victory on the server of Breeze, and they went on to claim victory on the server of Sub Zero the following day. After this they suffered a loss on Alaska as their war with ACP, IW, DCP, and the AR continued. At this point an alliance had also formed with the Pirates, comprised of DW, LT, and CPND. Next they claimed victory on Snow Fort, Summit, and Below Zero. Next the Pirates saw the retirement of longtime leader Waterkid, who cited many different reasons that made him retire.

  12. This is a horrible top ten, if AR had 20, IW had 20 and LT had 20. Why are they each in a separate spot. Why is ACP with 30, below armies with 20…. what kind of logic are you using

  20. cool list man, doritos look like they earned that spot. i mean im an Ice Warrior and an ACP general, and i personally think that ACP deserve that spot in the top 10 after coming out of their fall down, and IW would have been number 1 but whoever hacked the site ruinedus. but doritos worked hard this week so congratulations guys i hope my armies consider you close allies

  23. That moment when you’re like FOOSH YEAH! MY ARMY MADE IT TO THE TOP 15! And then you realize two things:
    1) You’re happy that your army isn’t even in the Top Ten
    2) Armies must really suck right now if your army is up there.

  24. Hmm. Interesting Top Ten. Personally, I don’t know why anyone views this when you can just use the Redd Report. I mean, it’s even got weather updates. Just look: proof the Light Troops used aliens in that war. http://reddreport.wordpress.com/2012/09/19/light-troops-seeking-martian-aid/

  27. Regarding the MW/UCCP issue:

“this is really s*** the f*** god f*** your mother in her chair in the midst of pu*****”

This, along with other insults, are what the MW has been spamming me recently. I must admit, it’s taken me awhile to translate them all, but now that I have, let me just explain a few things. First off, UCCP posted a review post- when any other army posts a review post, it is commonly meant for the Top Ten maker of said week, such as armies like AR and LT did this week. UCCP’s review, however, showed many pictures from different weeks, with no explination as to what was what.

Thus, how the f*** do you expect me to figure this out?

In most cases, I would simply fix the Top Ten. But since about half of MW has been spamming me with new and creative insults every time I log on chat, I won’t. Better luck next time.

We’re not in the charity business here. However we’re the ones doing you the favor, so I suggest you try and keep your troops on a leash.

  34. Hi, great top ten post. I think 15 should be rare penguins… We max and average basicly same as tuxedos. We average about 9-10+ and max 11-12+ So we probably are number 15… But its your choose… Heres our site if you want to see it: http://therarepenguinsofcparmy.wordpress.com/ . 3T. ACP
    3T. DW
    5T. Ice Warriors
    5T. LT
    7. Tostitos
    8. Nachos
    9. UCCP
    10. Pirates

    Iw’s size: 22
LT’s size: 18 – 20 (I cant see the coffee mugs are covering it up)

    Iw’s tactics: 10
    Lt’s tactics: 12

    Iw’s CPAC rank: 6th
    LT’s CPAC rank: 3rd
Clarify this for me. The Ice Warriors get hacked, So its taken apon you, that you make them 6th? Can someone (Other than a LT troop thats probbally going to rage for bad grammar or something like that) explain why IW was 6th and LT was 3rd?

  37. UCCP doesn’t belong in this top ten. They’re hardly a medium army in that picture. LT should be at LEAST 3rd, and Pirates are in serious need of a better leader because they’re doing awful.

  41. Great top ten! Just that the Tuxedos haven’t been really good around with sizes. The Rare Penguins 4G delcared war on them about 2 days ago and won with sizes up to 8+. I know that isn’t much for CPAC but the Tuxedos were a no show at both events. Besides that still it’s a great top ten.
